We finally have the answer to the question we’ve been asking ourselves ever since Alexander Wang announced his departure at Balenciaga. Who will take his place? 

The New Creative Director For Balenciaga Is…

Remember how heartbroken you were when you heard that Alexander Wang was leaving Balenciaga? Or maybe that was just me. Alexander Wang is such a talented designer that hearing his contract wasn’t going to be renewed with the fashion house came as a shock (I still have my fingers crossed that he’ll build out his own line soon!).

Turns out there are 3 contenders in the running for his place as Creative Director and they are:

Chitose Abe, the Tokyo-based designer of Sacai

Julien Dossena, the artistic director of Paco Rabanne

Bouchra Jarrar, Balenciaga veteran
