This Is Some Great News For Business Women

Women entrepreneurs, unite!

According to Jennifer Hyman, CEO and Co-Founder of Rent The Runway, only 4 percent of women-owned businesses are generating $500K or more in annual revenue. ONLY FOUR PERCENT! That is one discouraging statistic. How am I supposed to reach #girlboss status in a world that only allows 4% of women to “kill it”? The good news is, help is on its way!

Rent the Runway Foundation and UBS Americas have created Project Entrepreneur, a joint competition and mentorship program to support and encourage women entrepreneurs.

Three LUCKY finalists will win a $10,000 cash prize and a ticket to participate in a five-week accelerator program. So exciting! All of you amazing business women out there can apply at projectentrepreneur.org until January 8th of next year.

Rent the Runway Just Launched a Competition and Mentorship Program for Women Entrepreneurs

Rent the Runway dresses women for success. Now, it’s also working to help women find success as entrepreneurs, too. Today, the New York City-based fashion tech company’s new non-profit arm, Rent the Runway Foundation, and the financial services giant UBS Americas announced a joint competition and mentorship program to support and encourage women entrepreneurs.
