From Christmas trees to powdery white snow, from Christmas drinks to your favorite festive decorations. Today, I’ll give you the lowdown on the obligatory Christmas posts your Instagram feed is waiting for.
Be Instagram Ready This Christmas
Instagram is one of my favorite social media apps of all time. I love endlessly scrolling on it and posting on it. Like most of you, ladies, I also like making sure that my feed is pretty to look at and has all the right aesthetics.
We’re lucky because there are tons of photo editing apps available in both free and paid versions that we can choose from. It makes changing certain items like the brightness, contrast, and saturation a piece of cake! I reckon some of you even have a favorite VSCO filter already.
Since you’ve most probably already mastered the art of editing and taking a photo, I won’t be talking about that anymore. Today’s article is about giving you the go-to photos you must absolutely post during the Christmas season! After all, doesn’t the saying go, “pics or it didn’t happen”?

Show off your Christmas tree decoration skills by posting a photo of your masterpiece on Instagram. We all know how much you worked hard on it, ladies. Bravo!
2. Let It Snow
If you’re staying in an area where snowflakes fill the air, you’re in luck! That would make for an amazing photo.
Try getting different shots of settings and people with snow in the background. If there are lights around, that’d be even better.
3. Christmas Drinks
Starbucks Christmas drinks, mugs of hot chocolate, homemade eggnog, just saying all of them already makes me feel warm inside. I love that warm fuzzy feeling that only a hot beverage can give.
Take your Instagram photo a notch higher by wearing comfy clothes and showing off your cozy blankets in the photo. You’ll get loads of likes in no time!
4. Cute and Cozy Decorations
I adore the smell of cinnamon in my home so I like indulging this with a little DIY. I just surround a candle with cinnamon sticks, tie it with some twine, and voila! I’ve got a beautiful centerpiece that for my table.
5. Christmas Cookies
Treats are a must in my home because of my sweet tooth. If you’ve got the time, try making your own batch of Christmas cookies. You might even be able to use them as gifts for your friends!
6. Santa Sightings
There’s always a bit of Santa in every household. Whether it’s through a simple Santa hat or a little Santa plate, I think it’s always nice for our favorite jolly fellow to grace Instagram with his presence. Don’t you?
7. Show Your Love
This one’s a favorite of mine! It gives me an excuse to smooch my favorite person in the world. Take as many photos as you can with this one, ladies!
