Congratulations to all of the coolest couples who decided to have their weddings on the Fourth of July in honor of our nation’s birthday. Because the Fourth of July is soon approaching, it is the perfect time to give some patriotic inspirations to weddings.
This DIY napkin ring will sure to carry the independence day theme on your simple wedding or even for your bridal party. Blitsy Crafts shares this creative 4th of July DIY craft to celebrate in this coming Fourth. Learn how you can bring out the Fourth of July wedding theme by this simple and very easy DIY napkin ring on you wedding. Can we start?
You’ll need
- Paper Roll / Cardboard Tubes
- Red, White and Blue bandanas
- Hot Glue Gun
- Red & Blue buttons
- Scissors
- Twine
Step 1. Cut the Paper Roll
Using a paper cutter or a pair of scissors, cut the paper roll to make a ring. If your paper roll is not available, you can make your own cardboard ring.
Step 2. Cut the Bandana
Cut a strip from the bandana. The length and width will depend on your napkin ring.
Step 3. Wrap the Bandana
Attach one end of the bandana using hot glue, inside the ring, and wrap it around the ring until it has fully covered.
Step 4. Glue the other End of the Bandana
And then, attach the other end of the bandana using hot glue to secure.
Step 5. Add the Twine and Button
Cut a length of twine and tie around the ring. Make sure to tie it in the center and then add the button.
Step 6. Glue the Button
Tie the button and glue it into the bandana.
Step 7. Make a Ribbon
Tie the remaining twine into a ribbon.
Use White Table Napkin
To incorporate our independence color theme, use white table napkin for red and blue napkin ring.
