DIY Photo Booth Props | Add Extra Fun On Your Wedding Day

Make your wedding more exciting and fun with these creative DIY photo booth props! They’re so easy you can make them in an hour!

Easy DIY Photo Booth Props Tutorials For A Fun Wedding

Is your wedding coming up? Perfect! I’ve got here quick and easy tutorials for your DIY photo booth props. They take just about an hour or less of your time, and they’re very cheap. Everything you need may already be in your crafts area or in your nearest dollar and office supply store. Best of all, you can personalize and make your designs as creative and quirky as possible.

What You’ll Need

1. Start with stencils

With your DIY photo booth props, your imagination is the only limit, but for starters, let’s have four of them right here: lips, perfume, mustache, and lip bubble. Gather your papers, Exacto knife, scissors, pencils and, of course, stencils.

Oops, wait, you may be wondering where to get those stencils. Easy-peasy! Look for them online. If you’re using Word, choose Clipart. Find big images so they don’t appear blurry if you want to reduce their size later. Paste them on a white bond paper and cut them. Tada! Stencils!

Don’t want stencils? Draw them! 🙂

Sealed With A Kiss

1. Get your lip stencil, add a tape, and attach it to the back a glittery pink or red colored paper or card. This way, you won’t leave any pencil traces on the front.

2. Trace the lips. The tape should hold the stencil in its place, but you may still want to hold it with your fingers while you trace.

3. Cut the lips. You can leave the middle part uncut, but if you want to make your mouth open, use an Exacto knife for a better accuracy and cleaner cut.

Smell The Perfume

1. Tape your perfume stencil on a black construction or card paper.

2. Trace the perfume.

3. Cut a circle from the glittery paper, which you used for the lips by the way, and glue or paste it on the center of the perfume for accent.

Two More DIY Photo Booth Props!

Two photo booth prop designs down, two more to go! These are my favorites: mustache and lip bubble. To do them, you just have to follow the same steps you did with the previous two, which is to start with the stencil and cut the design.

For a better effect, though, you can layer your white mustache with black and then add some words on your lip bubble like “Say Cheese” or “Mr. and Mrs.” or “This is fun!”

2. Tape the dowel

You’ve got the stencils, but how do you hold them? If they’re really large, you can just take a photo holding them, but if they’re super cute and so you can be more creative with their placement during photo sessions, tape a dowel, which can be made of wood or plastic. If you don’t have a dowel, a BBQ stick or a stiff drinking straw will do.

And we’re done! In 60 minutes or less, you get all these DIY photo booth props for your wedding!
