Our Favorite Looks From Free People’s January Catalog

This month’s lookbook will make all of your bohemian dreams come true.

Ah, we LOVE Free People! Their clothes are a breath of fresh air, leaving us with a sense of nostalgia, and making us want to leave the city for good and run free in an open field filled with flowers! Too romantic? Maybe, but I can’t help it whenever I’m around Free People’s boho-inspired clothing.

This month’s catalog is even better than ever featuring flowing, lace kimono dresses; beautifully embroidered peasant tops; scintillating jumpsuits; and jackets approved by Neil Young himself. Dubbed “The Cinema Issue” this month’s catalog is inspired by the romanticism and freedom of vintage movies and Westerns giving us a modern take of timeless looks. Seeing these pieces instantly transports us to our favorite films like Easy Rider and Thelma and Louise.

Whether you’re looking to treat yourself to a new dress or window shop, you can’t miss Free People’s beautiful 2016 lookbook.

We’ve gathered some of our favorite looks below.

From L to R: Bandana Bandit Short Set, Everly Jacket, Some Like It Hot Jumpsuit

It’s hard to choose a favorite in this bunch seeing as I LOVE and have always wanted a fringe jacket Neil Young would be proud of, but my favorite has to be this killer jumpsuit that is beautifully form-fitting and meant to be worn with bright-colored shoes. While I’m not a fan of the caged boots, I would love to pair this with some deep blue suede booties.

From L to R: Cyndi Block Heels, Pacific Coast Highway Necklace, Cascading Coins Suede Vest, Atlas Single Feather Duster

Free People’s accessories are so pretty they make me want to actually wear accessories (I like to call my lack-of “minimalist” when really it’s just laziness). I love the suede vest which would look perfect with flared denim jeans and distressed boots.

From L to R: Luna Layering Bodysuit, Dancin In September Top, Tula Top, We The Free Tea Time Tee

I absolutely FELL IN LOVE with the Tula Top when I saw it. The cut and off-the-shoulder style is simply gorgeous as are the colors it comes in: red, navy blue and white. My favorite is the red, but I can definitely see the white being the more classic, popular option.

From L to R: Bluebird Dress, Modern Kimono Dress, Hearts on Fire Midi Dress

All of these dresses are absolutely beautiful and have already found their way to the top of my wish list, but my favorite has to be the Hearts on Fire midi dress. I love the cut and color that are reminiscent of a runaway princess, which is exactly the feeling their Cinema Issue emotes!
