Born and raised in London, she worked her way up from beauty buyer to chief merchant at Harrod’s, British’s luxury department store. After 15 years, she moved to Manhattan and took on the reins of another retail giant, Saks Fifth Avenue. Now, the Brit calls the Upper East Side home with her family and two dogs.

She’s an avid supporter of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Autism Speaks. One of the most intense things she’s done is actually jump out of a plane to raise funds for breast cancer. How’s that for exciting!
