DIY Air Plant Terrarium

We’re back with another great DIY home decor tutorial! If you missed our first post where we made dream catchers, catch it here! (That was totally punintentional.)

Today, we’re making a cute and chic hanging air plant terrarium. This terrarium comes from our friends at Maker’s Kit and comes with everything you need to make lively, beautiful home decor!

So, if you’re like me you probably live in an apartment with no home decor AT ALL. One could say I’m going for a prison-chic theme when it comes to the set-up of my apartment. It’s not that I don’t like decorating, it’s just that both my husband and I have a terrible eye for design so everything we think looks good probably doesn’t look all that great. Our idea of a home well-furnished is one with movie and book posters covering every inch of the wall, but lo and behold, we’re no longer 16.

When it comes to home decor, I like to keep it simple and clean which is why I was so drawn to this piece and, once I realized how easy it was to make, knew I had to make it, hang it and revel in my craftiness. So, before we get started with the tutorial, let’s go over what comes in the kit, shall we?

What To Expect:

The great part about this home decor piece is that, just like our dreamcatcher tutorial, it’s super simple to make! This doesn’t mean that you have less fun, it just means that, if you’re a beginner crafter like I am, this terrarium offers instant gratification which is great for someone who has an attention span of 1 minute and 3 seconds (points to myself).

Here’s the tutorial on how to make this hanging air plant terrarium:

Fairly simple, right? We know! If you’re into this, order it here!
