Designer Olivier Rousteing Shares Terrifying Paris Terrorist Attack Experience

Olivier Rousteing recounts where he was when the attacks took place and it is harrowing.

Olivier Rousteing, a designer for Balmain recounts his Paris attack experience while at work in his office. What he thought was just a usual day in the office turned into a complete nightmare.

The area where most lives were lost is a couple of blocks from where Olivier lives and when he heard of the attacks, was so distressed he couldn’t go back to his home. Instead he stayed at his second home: a hotel.

Olivier’s Prayers For Paris

OLIVIER ROUSTEING has told us of his experience of being in Paris during the terror attacks this weekend that saw terrorists strike in seven locations in France’s capital city – the city that he calls home.

Olivier may not be where the terrorists took down innocent civilians, but the recounting of his experience shows just how terrifying it is for Paris citizens, as well as those who ISIS has promised to target. Imagine feeling like you can’t go anywhere else because you don’t feel safe. For Olivier, it was only a hotel that made him feel safe as he was around familiar faces.

Moreover, as you may know, luxury brands thrive in Paris. This attack has many asking how designer brands will be affected and whether they will continue to operate in the City of Love. We do know there will be some drastic changes. To what extent though? We cannot tell.

But right now, consumerism is the least of France’s problems. Hopefully, more countries will join in the against terror and stand united.

Ladies, would you care to share anything about the Paris attacks? We’d love to hear from you.
