I don’t really know if this is good or bad news for the brand, but one thing is for sure, Ralph Lauren will undergo major changes in the months and years to come.
There have been plenty of mixed reactions over this breaking news. Some are ready for the fresh change, but for many, the house of Ralph Lauren won’t be the same.
Personally, I’m still shocked upon hearing this… but then again, all good things come to an end and if Ralph thinks it is the right time to step down, then it most probably is. Who else knows his brand better than he does, right?

Ralph Lauren Steps Down As CEO
Ralph Lauren Corporation announced that Stefan Larsson has been named CEO, starting in November. The 75-year-old founder and face of the fashion mega-house, Ralph Lauren, will continue to “actively drive the company’s vision,” a company statement read. Larsson most recently served as the global president of Old Navy, where the company saw three consecutive years of growth.
