Beyonce was right on the money with her song “Crazy In Love.” Love does make you a little bit crazy sometimes. Oh wait, I stand corrected. Love makes you really crazy and often, people are ashamed to admit that.

How to Tell If You are Crazy In Love?

When falling in love with another person, usually, you are in denial of your feelings and the crazy symptoms you’re suffering from. However, denying your feelings won’t change the fact that you’ve already fallen head over heels with a special someone.

But if you find yourself confused as to whether you’re really in love or not, these are the signs that will tell you if you’re heart has been captured:

1. This person annoys you, but you could care less.

You know it’s ridiculous when this person annoys you to the point of frustration and yet, you can’t find yourself getting pissed or mad. Despite the annoyance, you still want to be with him/her at the end of the day. Could this be love? Possibly.

2. Talking for hours does not feel like hours at all.

People who are in love cannot keep track of the hours they spend with their beloved. You could’ve been talking for 3 hours already and yet, it just feels like 20 minutes. You enjoy and cherish every second of it. When you think about it, you don’t even recall what you talked about in those 3 hours. Time just passes by so fast when you’re in love.

3. You go the extra mile.

S/he doesn’t ask you to sacrifice your time, reschedule your plans or basically, do anything out of your way. Rather, you, out of your own genuine will, volunteer to do all these. Further, you take it upon yourself to help them out with things they need to do. You could care less if your life becomes harder as long as theirs becomes easier. Although I wouldn’t agree to much on doing these things… but man, you are definitely crazy in love!

4. The embarrassing moments are comfortable.

You won’t think of farting and admitting to it when you’re around him, not in your wildest imagination. But this time, it’s different. You can talk about poop, farts, burps and other embarrassing moments comfortably with one another. Ain’t that sweet? But please, don’t do it on the first date.

5. A small gesture is always huge.

Whether it’s a quick call in the middle of the night (even if this person woke you up) or a surprise text in the middle of a busy work day, you know this small gesture is the sweetest and it’s a huge plus in your book. Can this person even do anything wrong? Not in your eyes!

6. Emotions always run high.

Well, you’re emotionally invested in this person so your feelings and emotions are doubled. You laugh twice as hard when he makes you laugh. You smile twice as big. But when you’re in an argument, the arguments are more intense too. There’s nothing wrong with this, it just shows that the feelings are indeed VERY intense.

7. Every moment is priceless.

You don’t have to go on a date every other day or even do something special every time you’re together. Because when you’re together, every moment is just priceless. The mere presence of this person makes you elated and happy. There’s no time wasted because both of you appreciate the time you offer one another. And you know very well that every second counts.

8. The best conversations are with this person.

It doesn’t matter if you talk about how your favorite team won, how galaxies were formed or why the chicken crossed the road. The only thing that matters are your conversations, no matter how deep or shallow they are. You value his thoughts and opinions and you appreciate his effort to talk to you about these things too. After all, you’d want a partner you can actually talk to about anything.

9. You are always reminded of him/her.

Everything you do, everywhere you go, you keep thinking about this person. When you’re making coffee, you immediately think “Oh yes, this is how Andy would like it.” Or if you pass by a taco stand, you think “Peter loves tacos!” It’s sweet to think of another person all day because it means that you genuinely care and love him. You just can’t help it, you think about him tirelessly.

10. The thought of love is scary.

I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t be scared to admit that they’ve fallen in love with someone. Love is tricky business and it entails high risk. If you’re not scared, then you’re really not in love. So take being scared as a good sign that your feelings are actually real.
