Elle Magazine celebrates their 22nd Anniversary and what better way to celebrate it than to honor eight women in Hollywood that have made a difference. These eight women are Amy Schumer, Dakota Johnson, Kate Winslet, Salma Hayek, Ava DuVernay, Carey Mulligan, Gena Rowlands and Alicia Vikander.
Elle is honoring these woman by putting them on the cover of the November issue. But mind you, they’re not together in one cover. Each woman has their a cover for themself but the story is all the same across all issues.

For 22 years, ELLE has been celebrating Women in Hollywood. And on Monday night, the most influential women in the industry filled the ballroom of the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills to honor ELLE’s eight incredible November cover stars-Dakota Johnson, Kate Winslet, Ava DuVernay, Amy Schumer, Salma Hayek, Carey Mulligan, Gena Rowlands, and Alicia Vikander.
Elle is right on the money with this one. It’s really great for a magazine as big as Elle to honor and recognize the efforts of these women in Hollywood. Talk about the scandalous gender pay gap that’s ripping Hollywood wide open right now, it’s really good to put the efforts of Hollywood women at the forefront. They too have a share in making the Hollywood biz so successful. I don’t know about you but I think I’ll be getting the Amy Schumer cover… just because she’s so hilarious and I’m very happy for her success!
