Um, has anyone else noticed Melissa McCarthy’s AH-MAY-ZING transformation?
Around two months ago, I wrote about Melissa McCarthy’s newly launched clothing line—Seven7. Before Seven7 dropped, many people speculated that the line would solely cater to plus-sized women; however, Melissa was quick to dismantle the idea of plus-size by stating that instead of relegating women to designated clothing sizes and terms, her line would be based solely on personal style and speak to every woman, extended sizes or not.
Now that her fashion line is doing incredibly well (which must be due to the body-positive message her line promotes), Melissa herself has undergone her own weight transformation and the result is beyond incredible.

Melissa has slimmed down a lot and looks healthier than ever! She’s a headstrong woman who knows what she wants so I’m sure getting down to a healthy weight is all part of the plan.
Not many people are a fan of her humor and movies, but this shouldn’t discredit the work Melissa has done in regards to inspiring women all over the world to be healthy and lose weight (both of which she proved are more possible than impossible).
Tired of the self-prescribed restrictions curvy women place on themselves, Melissa is speaking out against the rampant body-shaming that takes place in person and on the internet. This is what she had to say about society’s ridiculous customs:
Only wear solids? Don’t wear bright colors? That’s not real. Somebody made up these rules, and I disagree. It’s an odd thing that you can’t go shopping with your friends because your store is upstairs hidden by the tire section.
Melissa, I couldn’t agree more, girl! You go on being an inspiration to girls and women all over the world, you amazing woman, you.
