These comments need to stop ASAP.
As women, we hear comments that sometimes hurt us or offend us. But since it already happened and continues to happen, we actually become desensitized and learn to accept that this is the world we live in. However, this shouldn’t be the case at all. Sexist comments, regardless of its frequency, should be realized and recognized because sexism should stop.

“Are you, like, a feminist?” “Your biological clock is ticking.” “He picks on you because he likes you.” These not-so-subtly sexist comments are just a few of the 48 listed by real women in a new video from the The Huffington Post.
It is actually annoyingly amazing that women have to go through this crap every day. And I want to commend and applaud all women out there who have risen above sexist comments. It’s tough and it will get tougher.
It has been a sad reality that has been going on for decades, centuries even. Back then, the society looked down of women. But when women started exercising their rights and having the courage to go head-to-head with men, we still get comments that make us feel bad. And the sadder part is, men don’t get these sexist comments this frequently too. What gives?
Well, I can’t say that watching this video will make men stop with sexist comments… because I know for a fact that even women say these comments to fellow women. But perhaps, watching this video can at least make us all think twice about what we say next time around.
