April 22, 2016, marks Earth Day, the day we celebrate our beautiful home — Mother Earth! It’s time to give back and show our love for nature by supporting and wearing eco-friendly clothing lines. Here are organic clothes to celebrate Earth Day in.

More and more clothing lines are taking the eco-friendly route when it comes to designing clothes. Searching for organic textiles and fabrics used to be impossible, but has now become as easy as shopping for a plain white tee. Thanks to technology, more brands are looking for and incorporating humanely-sourced materials to use.

4. J. Crew Bee Tees

Crew launched the Save the Bees campaign to aid The Xerxes Society, a non-profit organization that protects and conserves the lives of bees and other types of insects.

The Faherty Brand is proud to say that their dresses are made from woven organic cotton sourced all the way from Northern India. But that’s not the end of the story, the fabric mill Faherty uses to weave the cotton is powered with natural energy and has its own eco-friendly filtration system.
6. G-Star Raw Denim
Ever heard of Bionic Yarn? Pharrell Williams worked together with G-Star Raw, The Vortex Project and Parley for the Oceans to create this eco-friendly fabric. Bionic yarn is made from recycled plastic bottles obtained in the ocean. So if you plan on buying denim jeans soon, go for G-Star Raw Denim instead.
7. Brass Necklace
Most metal jewelry is eco-friendly, but the Soko Brass Necklace is extra eco-friendly. The necklace itself is made from reclaimed metal cast from car engines. Pretty cool, right?

Nikki Reed and Freedom of Animals worked together to design this bag. While the clothes are beyond cute, the real attention-grabber comes from the materials used: organic cotton, plastic water bottle lining, zippers from recycled metals, and organic twill tape.
