Turn Your Boring Tea Lights Into Adorable Wedding Favors
I really love collecting washi tapes because of their really cute designs plus a lot of cool things you can make with this decorative tape. Combine it with plain tea lights and they become the perfect accessories for a romantic evening. That is why I really love this wedding project and I am confident that this will be great as wedding favors. Send your guests home with something useful, unforgettable and personalized wedding favors.
What You Need
- Washi tape or decorative tape
- tea light
- scissors
Step 1- Wrap the Tea Lights with Washi Tape
Just simply peel off your washi tape. And carefully place and wrap it around your tea light. Just stretch it out and press in slowly to avoid creases. You can choose different designs of washi tape that will complement your wedding theme.
Step 2- Cut it using Scissors
After you wrap it around, just tear it off or cut it off with scissors. If your washi tape doesn’t fit the height of your tea light you can cut off the excess or just wrap it under the tea light.
Light Up Your Tea Lights!
Aren’t they just lovely! It looks really different from the boring tea light since the washi tape did a really great job. And to make this more creative you can wrap this in a beautiful wrapper or a fabric tulle with a simple card.
