Banana Republic’s Creative Director is Making a BIG Move

The brand is not doing so hot right now.

Banana Republic’s creative director, Marissa Webb, will step down due to the brand struggles to improve sales. TheGap Inc.-owned brand had an 11% drop in August and has yet to report their stats from September.

Webb was hired on in April of 2014 after previously working for J. Crew. She plans on focusing on her own private label at this time. I for one think her line is awesome and I wish her the best of luck!
