The Best 2015 Fashion Blogs that Ruled

These fashion bloggers are taking over the fashion world one post at a time.Sure, some of these bloggers have been doing it for years (Julie Sarinana, we’re looking at you) but it’s only until recently that their hard work has paid off. These fashion blogs exploded in 2015 and have redefined what it means to be a fashion blogger.

These blogs have either expanded into wildly successful eCommerce shops or the bloggers behind them have signed on to modeling agencies, appeared in ad campaigns or designed clothing lines, basically dominating the fashion industry from the inside out.

Here are the blogs that dominated the internet in 2015:

1. The Blonde Salad

By now, everyone knows what The Blonde Salad is about and who its creator is. Chiara Ferrigni, Italian law student/photographer/model/blogger now living in LA, started The Blonde Salad in 2009 and has, since then, expanded her blog into a multi-million dollar empire that includes features in Cosmopolitan and Elle, an eCommerce site and ad campaigns.

2. A Beautiful Mess

Okay, yes, A Beautiful Mess is more of a lifestyle than a fashion blog, but I absolutely adore Elsie and Emma’s personal style and, while I love everything else they put up, wish they would do more Outfit of the Day features to showcase their amazing vintage style. With that said, A Beautiful Mess has also grown rapidly and wildly since its inception. It’s now expanded into an online shop where fans can buy one-of-a-kind stationery, photography and blogging courses, and so much more.

These two sisters have worked hard to get their blog to where it’s at, so it’s one that deserves honorable mention.

3. Cupcakes & Cashmere

In 2008, Emily Schuman created Cupcakes & Cashmere as a visual diary in which she could record her daily life. Since then, it’s expanded rapidly to include brand partnerships, design collaborations, consulting, and… drumroll please… the release of Emily’s first and best-selling book.

4. Song of Style

Aimee Song started out as an interior designer whose fashion blog, then a side project, and Youtube channel captured the attention of millions of viewers with its straightforward features of her street style. As is the case with other fashion bloggers, Aimee now collaborates with several brands and has been featured in ad campaigns.

5. Sincerely, Jules

Julie Sarinana has been in the blogging biz for a while and is, by now, a household name. Everyone is familiar with her blog and for good reason, girl has been working hard to build it into the empire it is today. The best part about Julie’s blog are the casual, laid-back outfits that anyone can wear.

6. Kayture

Kristina Bazan’s blog, Kayture, is a little more high-end than other fashion blogs in regards to the brands she features (and works with). Already a fashion industry darling, Kristina has worked with brands such as Piaget, Louis Vuitton and Hugo Boss.

7. Gary Pepper Girl

What started out as a site where Nicole Warne could sell her vintage clothes quickly grew into a massive fashion blog that has now become Nicole’s full-time job. Well, when she’s not modeling, of course. Yup, Nicole is now signed to the same modeling agency as Miranda Kerr. You go, girl!

8. Gal Meets Glam

Out of the bloggers featured in this list, Julia Engel from Gal Meets Glam is the least established, but is quickly climbing up the ranks in the fashion world. Julia’s blog has grown to be one of the most influential blogs on the internet, and that’s saying a lot given the fact that millions of fashion blogs are started every day. If you’re a fan of Lauren Conrad’s personal style, you’ll love Julia’s!

9. GabiFresh

Gabi Gregg from Gabifresh is so influential that she was one of three (yup, three) fashion bloggers chosen to star in Target’s Ava & Viv campaign. Can you believe that? Gabi started her blog as an outlet when she couldn’t find a job as a fashion intern and has quickly proven that her style and talent are unlike anything out there. While Gabi’s looks cater to plus sizes, her blog features posts that everyone will find entertaining.

10. Tuula Vintage

Jessica Stein from Tuula Vintage originally started her blog to showcase her travels and great personal style. Since then, she’s been asked to star in several campaigns, the most notable being Dior’s Beauty campaign. Of course, if it’s her adventures in travel that you’re after, her Instagram is replete with photos that will give you serious wanderlust.

11. La Petite Anglaise

La Petite Anglaise is a critically acclaimed fashion blog by Ella Catliff. What sets Ella’s blog apart from other fashion blogs is her personal style which is very Alexa Chung meets Parisian cool. If you’re looking for something a little unconventional, this is the blog for you.

12. Bryanboy

Now you must know who Bryanboy is, right? You know, the blog whose creator has now been featured in various ad campaigns for various brands? The same creator who has a Marc Jacobs bag named after him? Bryan from Bryanboy has been blogging for a while and, with all the work he’s put into it, is now featured in the front row of every fashion show, has collaborated with some of the industry’s biggest designers, and yet, still manages to rock infamously cool sunglasses.

What’s great about seeing these blogs become the empires they now are is knowing how much time, patience and dedication went into making them worthwhile. Most of the bloggers featured on this list have been blogging since 2008 and are only now starting to get the recognition they deserve.

If you run your own blog, just know that the hard work and effort are worth it and will pay off in the end. Never give up on your dreams and don’t be afraid to dream big!
