[Wedding Checklists] Avoid These 10 Bridal Blunders!

Top Wedding Mistakes That Can Ruin the “Big Day”!

We understand that you are very excited with your most awaited event. This is the moment you have dreamt, planned and worked hard for. But please, blushing bride, avoid committing these bridal blunders that some – if not most – brides are guilty of!

#1. Trying to Crash Diet

Instead of trying this, plan ahead and adopt a healthier eating plan months before the big day so you can slowly but surely achieve your ideal weight.

#2. Sticking to the Updo Hairstyle

You don’t have to do what everyone else is doing, like having an updo during weddings. Style your hair in your most beautiful and comfortable way, be it an updo or half do, or even the downward style.

#3. Not Investing on Wedding Favors

It’s important to thank your attendants with a tangible gift to show your appreciation. Be it with your thought or splurging a bit more on it, invest on what you give back to your guests.

#4. You Don’t Mingle With Everyone

Make it a point to still connect with your guests, and not just fuss over the ceremony details. They are there to celebrate with you, a sincere catching up will do.

#5. You get Ring Envy

When you have that shiny stone on your finger, don’t start comparing your ring with anyone else’s. Yours is as precious as any bride’s ring is.

#6. You Invite Non-Wedding Guests to Your Pre-Wedding Parties

Involving guests that won’t be with you during the wedding, or if they are not invited in the first place, but present on pre – wedding events, is just going to be a waste. Finalize wedding lists as part of the plan in order to avoid future hassle.

#7. Trying too much DIY

DIY sounds very tempting to you in order to cut on your expenses. But think thoroughly on which part you want to cut back. Having a relative take ordinary photographs in order to save may not capture the magical moments a hired photographer would. Choose where to cut back on the expenses, and where to splurge.

#8. Getting too Busy on the D-Day You Forget to Eat

So many brides either forget or forego eating during that day. Make sure you can still eat in order to last the whole and tiring day of your ceremony and reception.

#9. You Don’t Do Your Floral Research

Know the flowers you are purchasing. Know what to use for the tables, decor, ceiling details, and the like. You don’t want to waste on one of the intricate details for the wedding.

#10. Idle Gap between the Ceremony and the Reception

As much as possible, minimize the idle gap between the ceremony and the reception. A large gap may be inevitable, but make sure it won’t be too dragging for the guests. Make them understand and provide them treats while waiting, or some icebreakers.
