WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Hammer Ivory Paper 100gsm
- Hammered Ivory Card 200gsm
- C5 Ivory Envelopes
- Pair of scissors
- Silk Ivory Ribbon
- Hole puncher
- Glue
Instructions:
Step 1. Choose the Type of Card
Take a piece of your chosen card. Choose thickness, texture and colors of paper depending on what you like. Fold in the outer 2 courses of the card to make a gatefold invitation shape. You can mark a straight line in the center just to make sure both sides are even.
Step 2. Print out Content
Take a paper of your choice and print out what you want to be written on the inside of your invitation, you can also hand write this to make it more personal, and fold in any of the excess paper to have a neat straight margin around the writings. You can cut the excess or just fold in properly to add depth to the invitation.
Step 3. Cover the Back of Paper
Take your glue stick and cover the entire back of the paper. And place it in the center of the gatefold; make sure it’s really well pressed-down.
Step 4. Punch a Hole
Punch a hole on each side of the gatefold invitation to match up in the middle.
Step 5. Make the Bow
With your chosen ribbon, get the desired length to make your bow. Pull the ends of the ribbons through the holes that you punched in front of the card and once you’ve done this, you can tie your bow.
And you’re all done!
All you need to do is to place in your invitation along with other pieces you are sending into an envelope that fits everything perfectly.
