Fancy Cocktail Recipes You Can Make At Home

Cheers to drinking fancy cocktails while lounging in your PJs watching Netflix!

Happy hours and grabbing drinks with friends usually turns into dollars being erased from your bank account rapidly. You may even offer to pick up the bill, which is nice for everyone else but you may be regretting it the next day when you don’t even have enough money to fill up your gas tank (who does does anyways?).

The alternative to going out is staying home. Obviously. But staying home doesn’t have to be boring, it can be a good time. Opting for nights in can be very productive. You can get some reading done, catch up on your favorite show or even learn basic bartending skills. Sure, wine is easy and we all like having a glass after a long day, but fancy cocktails will make nights in so much more interesting.

Some cocktails are harder to put together than a bed from IKEA. But, there are lots of fancy cocktail recipes that are great for beginners.

Here are some of our favorites:

1. Sparkling White Cranberry Sangria

White wine + fruit = paradise in a cup.

2. Basil Cucumber Cooler

Any time you throw a herb into the mix it becomes fancy.

3. Cranberry Margaritas

“I’m not a regular marg, I’m a cool marg”.

4. Rosemary Greyhound Cocktail

Again with the addition of herbs. If you don’t like Rosemary, you just can just make a normal Greyhound. Still fancy and oh so delicious.

5. A Classic Gimlet

Sometimes, it’s best to stick with classic drinks like the Gimlet.

6. 2-Ingredient Piña Colada

Any two ingredient drink is a winner in my book.

7. Birthday Cake Martini

For your birthday, or any other day. It’s pretty, you should make it.

8. Spiked Arnold Palmer

This is basically summer in drink form.

9. Blackberry Whisky Lemonade

This drink only sounds complicated, it’s not!

10. Red Wine Sangria

Another sangria recipe! This one is for all those red wine lovers out there.
