Harry Potter Is Coming Back In A Big Way!

Potterheads rejoice! The boy who lived is back!

That’s right ladies & gents, J.K. Rowling is bringing back our beloved Harry Potter! She has created a two-part play named Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, set to debut at London’s Palace Theatre next year!

The play takes place 19 years after the book series ended and will center around the challenges of the Potter family.

Here is the play synopsis:

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

I trust J.K. Rowling and her choosing to continue the story as a play rather than a book. I think it will be amazing! If you live in London, all tickets are available from HarryPotterthePlay.com.

J.K. Rowling’s new play will be the ‘eighth Harry Potter story’

J.K. Rowling has revealed more details about Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a two-part play that will open in London’s West End next year. The first official theatrical adaptation of the Harry Potter story is set 19 years after the book’s main timeline finished and will focus on the challenges of the Potter family.
