1. Desert Sage

We all know that gray is a big color every fall and winter. It’s hard not to indulge yourself in a gray sweater or scarf come this year of year. But with the color desert gray, you can enjoy a tinge of green in there. The color is very earthy and natural; greenish gray is also very calming and relaxing to the eyes.

2. Marsala

Undoubtedly, this is my favorite color in the bunch. Not only is deep red huge for fall and winter fashion every year, the added hint of purple makes Marsala even more special. From coats to legging to even hair, Marsala is a big winner!

3. Dried Herb

From the name itself, this olive green shade resembles what a dried herb looks like. It is chic and can easily be matched with other earthy tones. Come to think of it, dried herb resembles military green, which is the perfect excuse to go a little bit masculine with your fashion choices this season, at least, in terms of colors that is.

4. Biscay Bay

For women who loves blues and greens, Pantone has the perfect color for you: Biscay Bay. This elegant color mixes blue and green together to form a lush and invigorating teal color. It’s cool, it’s soothing and it amps up your wardrobe effortlessly.

5. Cadmium Orange

When I see this color, it instantly reminds of shagedelic Austin Powers. Cadmium Orange brings you back to the 60s and 70s, a period of playfulness and vibrant colors. Although this shade isn’t as bright as what you’d see in the past, its deeper tone easily adds drama to your fall/winter look. It’s great for contrast too!

6. Reflecting Pond

Next on my top colors list is Reflecting Pond. It was actually a very tough choice to pick my ultimate favorite between the two because look, this dark blue or navy blue shade just looks exquisite. It’s so versatile you can wear any piece of clothing with this color and make it work whether it’s a fall hat, coat or even pants! What I love more about it? It goes perfectly with Marsala!

7. Oak Buff

Maybe the truest earthy tone in this list is Oak Buff — a mellow brown shade that expresses the feeling of warmth and comfort. Although not my go-to shade, any brown color makes your wardrobe easy to mix and match.

8. Stormy Weather

If Desert Sage was a mix of gray and green, Stormy Weather is a mix of gray and blue… something similar to a sky that is about to rain. This cool tone color adds an enduring and luxurious touch to clothes. It’s a pretty timeless color too!

9. Cashmere Rose

Fall and winter fashion can’t come full circle without a girly hue. This Cashmere Rose fits the bill! The soft hue, composed pink shade adds softness to fall and winter looks, which are mostly composed of dark colors. So, having a light pink clothing or accessory can provide good contrast to your overall look. Plus, it’s just too pretty not to have!

10. Amethyst Orchid

Let’s end this list with a bang! Fall and winter fashion wouldn’t be complete without a purple shade, right? Presenting Pantone’s Amethyst Orchid, which sums up everything we love about dark purple in this season. It’s not too deep, not too light but is still an exciting and bold color to have. I’m 100% going to stock up on this color in my closet!

I still can’t get over the fact that I’m in love with the majority of these colors. I feel like this is going to be the best fall/winter season for me yet (fashion-wise).
