Fall is here and you know what the means, right? BOOT SEASON! It is the perfect time of year to bust out your favorite pair of boots or invest in some new ones that you can kick up some leaves in! Think about all the places you wear your boots to in the fall! Football games, date nights, the movies, bonfires…the list is endless. My favorite place to wear boots is to a pumpkin patch or even a haunted house because you are sure to spook some strangers with your gorgeous taste in boots! (Or should I say, “BOOts for the fall!”)
BOOts For The Fall
The best part about boot season is that, when it comes to personal preference, there are so many options to choose from! Nowadays, boots come in an abundant variety of colors, fabrics, and styles made to fit your fashion needs. With so many options, it is almost impossible to pick just one pair! Today on the blog, I am sharing my go-to fall boots because I believe you can never have too many options!
Blush Faux Suede/Metallic Heel Boots
O-M-G! If I were a boot, I believe this is what I would look like! I had been looking for a new pair of booties to wear with a sweater dress and girl, I struck gold! *wink* Blush is a gorgeous neutral color that can match almost any outfit, while the metallic gold heel adds a touch of glamour! These would look darling with a cute top and skinny jeans or even a long skirt! Now, for the ultimate task: to actually find the perfect sweater dress that can do these booties some justice!
Rain boots
Once I discovered a life with quality rain boots, I have not looked back since! Rain boots are obviously my go-to for rainy weather, but they are also wonderful just to run errands in when the weather is cold! I usually rock them with a long-sleeved crewneck sweater, warm leggings, and cozy socks. I then slip on my rain boots and BOOM, I am ready to take on the day, rain or shine! Also, rain boots are perfect for going to a pumpkin patch or bonfire because they are durable and easy to clean from any messy area you might have to walk through.
Suede Eyelet Over-The-Knee Boots
These drop dead GORGEOUS boots are some of my most admired, and expensive, shoes I own! Years ago, I saw a friend wearing them in a photo and my obsession for them began! I searched for months to find them, until I finally tracked them down at Nordstrom. After my fiancé gifted me them for Christmas, (this is when I knew he was he one! Ha, just kidding….but REALLY! *wink*) they have been a fall and winter staple for me ever since!
I love to wear these over-the-knee beauties every chance I get! They go perfectly with leggings, skinny jeans, over-sized sweaters, and fleece dresses just to name a few. But, with them being so expensive and made of real suede and leather, I always avoid wearing them in rainy or snowy weather, or somewhere there might be mud!
Minnetonka Fringe Boots
These Minnetonka boots are so cute that I bought them in two colors! Not only are they easy on the eyes, they are actually really fun to walk in! The fringe moves with each step I make, making me embody my inner Nancy Sinatra when she sang the song, “These Boots Are Made For Walkin’!” Just like my over-the-knee beauties, I wear these gems with a lot of leggings and fall dresses, while also avoiding bad weather that could potentially ruin them!
VS Pink Cloth Boots
This cotton little numbers are not your typical boots, but they sure do come in handy. These sweater-like boots are for the days when I am going out and comfort is my top priority. I like to wear them when I am out running a quick errand or enjoying a night at the movies. The best part about these cuties is that they are completely versatile! I can wear them over-the-knee with some leggings and or scrunch them down for a shorter look with some jeans! They are basically house slippers you can wear out in public! Who doesn’t love that idea?!
And there you have it cuties, go get yourself some booties! I hope I have inspired you to step up your boot game and try out some fun, new ways to rock them! Enjoy this marvelous, crisp autumn weather and show everyone how you put the BOO in boots!
