Welcome aboard Chanel Airlines.
Chanel created their very own airport for their Spring runway show complete with luggage carts, flight attendants and check-in counters. There was even a Chanel No. 5 boarding gate! This is the chicest airport I’ve ever seen.
The models (including Kendall Jenner) didn’t just “walk the runway”, they actually stopped at the check-in counter! So interactive & such a unique idea, I love it. Show attendees sat in rows of boarding gate seats.
Of course, the models rolled stunning Chanel luggage as they strutted their stuff. They also sported gorgeous large aviators. The whole thing was amazing.
16 Things to Know About Chanel’s Spring 2016 Airport Show
In today’s connected (you might say over-connected) world, we’re all one text, or Facebook message, or flight away from each other. Lagerfeld knows it, and as someone who probably spends much of his life in the air (albeit in his own pristine private jet with Choupette in tow), it seems fitting that he chose to transform Paris’ Grand Palais into an airport to showcase his spring 2016 collection.
