[How To] Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe That Will Turn You Into a Certified Baker

Easy and Perfect Cookie Recipe for the Sweet Tooth

 

Chocolate chip cookies are a basic source of happiness. If you’re having a tough day or just hungry, a glass of milk and cookies will surely make your day. So if you want to try and make your own, here is an easy recipe for you. Don’t worry, it may be easy but it tastes perfect.

 

In this recipe, you’ll need the following:

  • 3/4 Cup of Melted Butter
  • 2 Eggs (1 Whole and 1 Yolk)
  • 1 Cup Trader Joe’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 1 Tablespoon of Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Cup of Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of White Sugar
  • 2 Cups of All-Purpose Flour

Let’s get started!

 

Step 1: Mix the Dry Ingredients

Mix 2 cups of flour with 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Whisk everything together and then set aside.

Step 2: Mix the Other Ingredients

In a separate bowl, mix 2 cups of brown sugar, 1 cup of 2hite sugar and 3/4 cup of melted butter. Mix it with a wooden spoon until all the ingredients are well incorporated.

 

Step 3: Add the Eggs and Vanilla

After mixing the ingredients, add a whole egg and a yolk. This will make the cookies more creamy and chewy. Put a tablespoon of vanilla extract and stir the batter well.

Step 4: Mix All the Ingredients

Now, put together the dry ingredients from before and mix it with the wet ones. It will be easier to use your hands to massage the batter.

 

Step 5: Add in the Chocolate

After making sure that all the ingredients blended perfectly, add in 1 cup of chocolate chunks. Again, use your hands so that the chocolates are well distributed to the cookie dough. cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and put the dough in the freezer for 20 minutes.

 

Step 6: Scoop the Dough

Once it’s out of the fridge, use an ice cream scoop to scoop out your cookie dough. Make balls and lay them on the cookie sheet 3 inches apart from each other.

Step 7: Bake It

Bake them at 325 degrees for about 13 minutes. Once they’re out of the oven, place them in on a cooling rack.
