Cindy Crawford’s Officially Retiring
Cindy Crawford, the iconic ’90s Glamazon has announced that she’s retiring from the modeling industry forever. While she had been in semi-retirement for a number of years, she was recently featured in Balmain’s Spring 2016 campaign alongside other ’90s supermodels Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer.
Her reason?
I’ve worked with all these incredible photographers. What else do I need to do? I can’t keep reinventing myself. I shouldn’t have to keep proving myself. I don’t want to.
Makes sense. The model is now a mother and, in addition to having other priorities, has already made her name in the industry and shouldn’t have to keep on competing with other models who are currently dominating the scene. She’s Cindy Crawford, for chrissake.
