These decorations will light up your life.
I personally think twinkle lights are pure magic. They make you feel like you’re in a fairy-tale or a whimsical forest. You can’t help but smile when you see twinkle lights. I dare you to try resisting a smile.
It’s safe to say that everyone puts lights on their Christmas tree and maybe some on the outside of their homes (I give you people credit, I would never want to put in the work #lazygirlproblems). But, twinkle lights can be used to decorate in SO many other ways, you’re not doing them justice by just putting them on your tree.
Here are some ways to incorporate twinkle lights around your house!
1. Put them on the ceiling
It’s like fairies are flying around your head!
2. Wrap a tree with them
This particular tree looks very time consuming, but wrap a few strands around the trunk and you’re good to go!
3. Make a design using particle board
Such a creative idea! I love how the board is painted black, it really helps the lights stand out.
4. Make a festive lantern
All you need is a stand of battery-operated lights and some ornaments!
5. Make snow globe terrariums
These are just beautiful.
6. Create this light up marquee sign
This DIY project is worth the time, everyone will love it!
7. Spray paint the lights gold
Such a simple DIY that transforms your lights from drab to fab!
8. Framed Christmas card display
Because your Christmas cards should always be displayed proudly.
9. Put them on the mantle!
This is a simple one you might already be doing!
10. Make a chandelier
Just wrap lights around a hula-hoop!
