Longing for an easy and effective face mask used by your favorite celebrities? Level up your beauty routine as Miranda Kerr’s beauty secret is revealed!

If you’re wondering what Miranda Kerr is using to pamper her skin, it’s a DIY face mask, ladies! Though it’s a bit impossible for her to patronize cheap and homemade beauty regimen, well, she just did! I’ve been engaged to various face masks sold at beauty counters for years now. I’ve tried different brands and variants of it and I can say that it’s really costly, especially if I use it on a daily basis. But after discovering Miranda Kerr’s obsession, I think I’ll be spending more time in the kitchen now!

If you’re aiming for a youthful, glowing skin, face masks are here to the rescue! But since it’s a bit pricey, better look for alternatives with the same effects (or even more), right?

Celebrity and Australian model Miranda Kerr loves using a DIY face mask with just an ingredient available at your fridge — cucumber! Haven’t you noticed her fresh and radiant face? Thanks to this nature’s miracle fruit for that glowing effect!

If you’re not a fan of cucumbers and its wonders on skin, here’s a glimpse. Cucumbers are used to lighten and remove dark circles. They can also curb eye puffiness, lighten complexion, fade freckles and boost the skin’s radiance. Lastly, cucumbers can also soothe a sunburn and close your pores. How amazing was that? After a whole day of work, your skin deserves some relaxation with this organic face mask. Don’t worry, a piece of cucumber will go a long way!

If you want to try how cucumbers work by making it as a face mask, here’s an easy tutorial:

Main Ingredient: Cucumber

What You’ll Need To Make This DIY Face Mask:

  • Mandolin slicer
  • Chopping board
  • Knife
  • Clean bowl

Step 1: Put The Cucumber In The Refrigerator

Put one piece of cucumber in the refrigerator to cool it down. This DIY face mask needs to be cool to achieve its maximum soothing effect.

Step 2: Cut Off One End Of The Cucumber

Once the cucumber is cool, cut one end of it.

Step 3: Slice The Cucumber Through A Mandolin Slicer

Grab a mandolin and thinly slice the cucumber. You can create perfect and thin slices by maintaining a steady motion. If you don’t have a mandolin, you can use a knife and a chopping board. Make sure you slice the cucumber thinly and evenly, making the slices thin enough to be flexible.

If you’re using a long cucumber, you may only need to slice half of it. Be sure to slice the pieces you’ll only need.

What to do next with your cucumber slices?
