Bridal shower has become a norm for the women who are about to get married. This is a party intended for the bride-to-be to say goodbye to her single days . This occasion is mostly planned by the maid-of-honor together with the bridesmaids. Other friends of the bride-to-be are invited not just to have fun but most importantly to give gifts in preparation of her wedding day. If you are tasked to hosts the bridal shower, then here’s a helpful tip on how to beautify the venue making it extra special with these quick DIY bridal shower decorations from Martha Stewart.

What you’ll need:

• Roll of crepe paper
• Crepe paper streamers
• Circle cutter
• Vellum paper
• Scissors
• Fringe Scissors
• Double Stick-Tape
• Monofilament
• Cutting Mat

Instructions:

Bridal Shower Decor no. 1:   Garland of Pleated Spheres

Step 1

Cut some circles with your circle cutter using a vellum paper. This kind of paper is preferred because it is smooth and durable

Step 2

Once you have a whole stack of circles, fold them in half. For additional ideas on how to use vellum paper.

Step 3

When you feel like you have substantial pile, start putting together your spheres. There are also several designs of garlands here.

Step 4

• On each semi-circle, stick a piece of double-stick tape

• And attach the next folded circle. Keep applying double-stick tapes and folded circles until when you open it up, it makes a pretty shape.

Step 5

Before you close the sphere, attach it to the monofilament which you’ve already cut. Use a piece of double stick-tape to hold it in. Stand out the folds, and then you have your first segment. Just “keep cruisin” until you have enough segments.

Bridal Shower Decor no. 2: Fringe Streamer

Step 1

Once you have a strip of crepe paper, use your fringe scissors, just work your way down the sides. Check out the video for some tips in using this pair of scissors.

Step 2

Once you’ve fringed on one side, flip it over and simply do the next. VOILA! You’re all done!
