Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen took back the license for their clothing line Elizabeth and James from Jaya Apparel Group earlier this year and proceeded to design what most would say the best Elizabeth and James collection to date.
The new Pre-Fall 2016 collection includes a variety of slouchy/chic clothes in grays, muted colors, and of course, black. The clothes are very reminiscent of pieces from their more luxury clothing line, The Row.
My favorite item from the collection would have to be the cream wide-leg trousers. Imagine all the looks you could put together with those!
Elizabeth and James Pre-Fall 2016
With an emphasis on versatility, ease and the interplay of the casual and sophisticated, the lineup was heavy on boxy sweaters and long, fluid skirts and dresses. Pre-fall was the first Elizabeth and James collection designed in-house since Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen took back the license from Jaya Apparel Group earlier this year.
