Just like Wolfgang Mozart, a well-renowned pianist, and composer; Helen Keller, an inspiring educator and author; and Bill Clinton and Barack Obama who happens to be Presidents of the USA. But the long list of lefties doesn’t end there! The big stage of Hollywood also takes pride of the multi-talented celebrities who make contributions to the industry.

Only 10% of the world’s population are left-handed, making it a rare but impressive circumstance. Around the world, lefties proved that handedness doesn’t really matter at all, especially when it comes to skills and success. There might be inconveniences along the way but a heart driven by passion will always go forth. Lefties seem to be born as awesome and creative people with great adaptation to the world — like the Hollywood.

As we celebrate Left-Handers’ Day on August 13, let’s beat the drum for their remarkable works and triumphs. Here are some of the famous left-handed celebrities that established not just their names in Hollywood but also in different parts of the globe.

 

1. Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie is one of the leading actresses in Hollywood today. Among her best films were ‘Salt’ and ‘Maleficent’ that gained good reviews from the viewers. Aside from being an actress, she is also a director and producer. Moreover, she also engaged herself in doing humanitarian efforts. What’s not to love about this wonderful woman, right?

 

2. Celine Dion

The French-Canadian singer showed her prowess in singing that made her a popular entertainer worldwide. Mariah Carey dominated the pop charts back in 1990’s, making her won numerous awards and recognition.

Oprah Winfrey came from an impoverished childhood but ascended to be one of the most powerful and influential celebrities in the world. 4. Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga was first known by the public because of her debut album ‘The Fame’. It includes ‘Poker Face’, her chart-topper hit. Soon after, the pop artist and cultural icon gained more fans because of her creative expressions, wild fashion, and antics both seen in videos and stage performances. No wonder why a lot of ‘little monsters‘ idolize their Mother Monster.

5. Nicole Kidman

Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman launched her first acting career with an indie film in Australia. Another sought-after actress in Hollywood who’s a left-hander is Julia Roberts.
