Danaerys’ Dragon Egg Nail Art
Game of Thrones is a TV series that is taking the world by storm. The popularity of the show created a lot of uproar from the fans thus creating different kinds of trends. One of the fashion trends it affected is in nail designs. Many created their own version of Game of Thrones inspired nail art. If you are want to learn one, here’s a tutorial on how to make dragon eggs nail design that will surely make the mother if dragons proud.
In this design, you’ll need:
- Dark Green Nail Polish (Kiko 392)
- Dotting Tool
- Green Shimmer Nail Polish
- Sheer Light Green Nail Polish (Carlo Di Roma 12)
- Makeup Sponge
- Top Coat
- Striper Brush
Are you ready?
Step 1: Apply the Base Coat
Apply one coat the Kiko 392 dark green nail polish. Make sure not to apply it thickly.
Step 2: Draw the Scales
After a few seconds, draw triangular patterns using a dotting tool. This will represent the scale of your dragon eggs.
Step 3: Paint the Scales
Using the striper brush, paint the tips of the scales with the green shimmer nail polish. They’re resembling a dragon egg already, right?
Step 4: Enhance the Scales Even More
Using a little bit of a makeup sponge, dab some Carlo Di Roma 12 sheer light green nail polish and bounce it against the scales. This will give off an enhancing effect on the scales.
Step 5: Apply Top Coat
And finally, seal with a top coat for a smooth and shiny finish. You’re done! All you need to do is apply the same method to all of your fingers.
