While I’d love to talk about hunky men in the Olympics, I’d like to begin with the hottest female athletes who also love yoga like me! Here are the beautiful, strong women I look up to:
Hope Solo
Hope Solo is not new to the Olympics, having competed thrice since 2008 as part of the US National Soccer Team. Not only that, she is a two-time Olympic gold medalist! As a goalkeeper, it’s important she has endurance, strength, and agility, which she gets by combining yoga and plyometrics.
Rebecca Soni
Don’t be deceived by that sweet, fragile face. Soni has already won six Olympic gold medals – yup, 6! Also, it turns out this girl loves not only swimming but a whole lot of other fitness activities including spinning and running, although she calls yoga her foundation. After all, the practice can teach her proper breathing. At least, we have something in common.
Maria Sharapova
If you love tennis, then definitely you know Maria Sharapova. She’s one of the best in the world, and I believe that even in the midst of her scandal. She competed in the 2012 London Olympics representing Russia and won a Silver medal. She loves yoga too! Check out her video at the end of the post.
Evelyn Stevens
Stevens is one of the best women bikers in the world, and her strong finish in the 2012 London Summer Olympics is proof of that. But I love her even more because she is passionate about yoga. In fact, she does it with her team.
Elena Delle Donne
This stunner is a three-time WNBA All-Star and a WNBA MVP in 2015. She’s currently playing for the US National Women’s Basketball Team in Rio. She likes hot yoga and includes it in her workout techniques.
