During the course of time, the makeup brushes became stiff with frequent washings. 12. Dry ’em up!

Like clothes, hair and nails, makeup brushes also need to be dried up before using them again. You can use brush trees or DIY racks to hang your brushes while drying them. Compared to just laying them flat on a towel, hanging ’em up makes your brushes dry faster and it also prevents the bristles from falling out.

After cleaning and drying comes storing your brushes properly. It depends on your preference on how you store your brushes.
