Anyone can be beautiful, that is the message 18-year-old Madeline Stuart wants everyone to know. She walked the talk and the walk down the New York Fashion Week runway. Maddy, a model with Down Syndrome, strutted her stuff this year and wowed both designers, models and spectators with her beauty and, most importantly, perseverance. However, the highlight of this girl’s fashion career (which is just beginning!) is winning the Model of The Year Award.

Madeline Stuart didn’t just wake up to a phone call, inviting her to walk the runway at New York Fashion Week. The inspiring 18-year-old with Down syndrome worked for her dream. While Maddy released a series of stylish images that seemed to go viral overnight, posing for that camera took a lot of practice, in addition to a brand-new diet and exercise regimen.

W-O-W! Indeed, anyone can be beautiful! But what I admire about Maddy is the hard work she put into making her dream of being a model come true. Madeline worked hard, put in the effort and time and, most importantly, never wavered from fulfilling her dream. I hope this inspiring story touches everyone’s heart today.
