Don’t fret over lipstick that has since rubbed off, I’ll show you how to make the most out of your lipsticks that don’t seem to….well…stick. Fortunately, there are a few things that you can do at home that will help your lipstick last. Did you know that simply exfoliating your lips could help make your lipstick application much more appealing? All you need is a soft baby toothbrush and some lip scrub and you’re good to go. There aren’t many things that I hate more than lipstick that once was. Check out these helpful hints that will have your lipstick lasting all day even after dinner, drinks, and dancing!
7 Tips For Perfect Lips
Drum roll….get ready for some of the easiest and most useful tips and tricks for applying makeup! Did you know that moisturizer is a great way to help set your lipstick? Well, it is. Here’s a great list of things you can do to make your lipstick last all day.
1. Exfoliate.
No need for anything fancy. Grab your good old toothbrush and scrub those lips to say goodbye to dry lip skin.
2. Moisturize.
Apply a lip balm as this will protect your new skin. Remember to stay away from lip balms with alcohol, flavors and fragrance as this will dry your lips more.
3. Lip Liner.
Line the outer corner of your lips preferably with the shade near the color of the lips.
4. Blot.
This is a MUST. To remove excess oil from the your first layer of lipstick!
5. Powder.
You can either dap the loose powder directly to the lips or apply the loose powder over the tissue.
6. 2nd Coat.
Apply the second coat directly from the tube for full IMPACT!
7. Concealer.
Finally tidy up the edges and you’re good to go!
