Quick Mascara Tips: How to Get the Last Drop Out of Mascara

You’ve probably come across a lot of makeup hacks and mascara tips. Today, we’ll be sharing 2 easy tips on solving one of the most common mascara issues —  fixing a clumpy and dried one.

Who doesn’t own a mascara? We love its simple and instant transformation effect with only a few swipes on our lashes. Whether you’re after its claims of curling, volumizing or lengthening, a mascara’s effect will always brighten and accentuate a woman’s eyes. (even if you only had 3 hours of sleep!)

So how do you fix it? We normally pump it a couple of times to get more – but that’s a BIG NO-NO, girl! You’re just pumping more air into the tube and this will make it dry even faster. (guilty!)

If you don’t want to spend lavishly on another tube (because your old one just dried up), we’ve got 2 tips!

Tip no. 1: Warm Water

If you practice heating up your eyelash curler with a blower before using it (for better results!), this will also warm up your mascara.

Before warming up your tube, make sure to TIGHTLY secure its lid. Then, get a cup or glass of warm water (not boiling water, okay?) and soak the bottom part of your tube. Wait for about 3-5 minutes and dry it off using a cloth. VOILA!

Tip no. 2: Eye Drop

If warm water is not available, grab an eye drop and add 1-2 drops into the tube. Gently rub the wand and tadah!! It’s now as good as new!
