The best part about these outfits? You already have them in your closet.
While we’re all tempted to shop for a new NYE dress or blouse, we forget that we have everything we need to countdown the new year in in our very own closet. What I really like about creating an outfit from clothes you already have is the individuality and creativity behind the act.
Instead of getting that midi sequined gold dress you saw from Urban Outfitters that you know two other people are bound to have, why not create a new look that best represents your interest and tastes? Instead of the dress, wear that sequined sweater you’ve been meaning to wear with a leather skirt, fishnet tights, and your favorite pair of ankle booties. (I guess you know what I’ll be wearing this NYE.)
