Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Heavy Cream

Whip the heavy cream until soft peak forms. If you have an electric mixer at home, you can use it to make the whipping easier. Just continue doing it until you get a creamy consistency.

Step 2: Soften the Cream Cheese

In a room temperature, soften your cream cheese and place it in another bowl. Smooth it out using a spatula to achieve a slightly fluffy and creamy thickness.

Step 3: Mix the Creams

After getting the right consistencies of both creams, add the cream cheese into the whipped cream. Fold it in and mix them well until they are blended together. Add sugar to the mixture and give that one final mix.

Step 4: Matcha Paste

To make the matcha paste, in a small bowl, put a little amount of hot water to the matcha powder. Mix them well until it’s smooth. If it’s too thick, add some more hot water. Look at that perfectly green color!

Step 5: Matcha Mixture

Add the matcha paste to your cream mixture. Fold it in until the color gets even to the whole mixture. Set it aside.

Step 6: Cookie Crumbs

Put your cookies in a bowl and crush it evenly until crumbly and powdery. Set it aside.

Step 7: Bag it in

Put your matcha cream mixture into a piping bag or ziplock bag. Squeeze it on one side. If you are using a ziplock bag, snip a small hole at one end of the bag. This is where the cream will be coming out.

Step 8: Layering

In a glass, put some cookie crumbs. This will serve as the base. Top it with the matcha mixture. Add another layer of cookie crumbs then another layer of matcha mixture. Repeat it until the glass is full. For a more appealing presentation, make sure that the top layer will be the matcha mixture.

Step 9: Finishing Touches

Sprinkle some matcha powder on top to intensify the flavor. Chill before serving.

Dig In!

Oh la-la! And we’re done! Have a spoonful of this no-bake matcha cheesecake and for sure, you’ll find yourself finishing up the whole glass because this is a winner!
