Looks like we’re going to twist, lick, and dunk this summer with the newest cream flavors of Oreo Thins! Yummy!!! Here’s a glimpse of the latest cookie flavors you can add to your grocery checklist.
Oreo Thins | Be Wonderfilled with their New Flavors to Munch On
New Drool-Worthy Flavors Spotted!
There is really nothing permanent in this world but change. But, on a good note, this change has brought so much happiness inĀ our hearts and our sweet tooth as well.
After hitting success in their previous flavor launches, here comes another addition to their line of yummy cookies. Along with the Mint, Golden and Regular flavors of Oreo Thins, Lemon, and Chocolate flavors are now included in your options.
Want more good news? Well, unlike other flavors that are available only for a limited time, these two new flavors are officially part of the permanent offerings of Oreo throughout the whole year! So no need to wait for a certain season just to taste these goodies because they will always be available in your favorite stores and supermarkets (unless they run out of stock due to its high demand).
Just some tidbits of information, the classic Oreo cookies are 12.5 millimeters thick while Oreo Thins are only 7.5 millimeters. However, they are not diet cookies. They are still the same old cookies we used to love but with lesser calories (hooray!), thinner than the usual and has a crunchier feel in every bite.
In line with the product launch, Oreo decided to make a collaboration with Chef John Besh and his pastry chef Kelly Fields come up with gourmet desserts using newly-released cookies.
For the Chocolate flavored Oreo Thins, they used to create a 144-layer Baumkuchen cake. Sounds mouth-watering, right? Well, the chefs got their inspiration from the exquisite looks of the cookie, which gave them the idea about the layers of a classic European cake.
On the other hand, they used the Lemon Oreo Thins to create the “Caviar” Teeny Blini which gives an impression of a delectable appetizer or bite-size starter foodie but it’s actually an intricately shaped, luscious delight for the stomach.
One last thing. If you’re not into cooking and experimenting in your kitchen, grab a glass of red wine and just dunk your cookies into it. Well, that’s according to Chef John. Try it for yourself, too! You might end up dunking cookies over and over again. Happy munching!
