How to Shape Eyebrows
Avoid plucking with these step-by-step instructions on how to shape eyebrows using shadow:
You can easily shape your eyebrows without plucking by filling them in. Simply choose which eyebrow shape you prefer, and mock it on your other brow.
Taupe is a universally flattering for any eyebrow color.
Using your eyebrow comb, brush your eyebrow down to create a defined line at the top of your eyebrow.
Hold your brush at the outer corner of your nose and see where it lines up with the outer corner of your eye. This is where your eyebrow should naturally end. If it is not that long, make a dot at this spot with your eye shadow.
Load up your brush and start outlining the top of your brow. Go along the arch using short strokes.
Using your comb, brush your eyebrows upward.
Load up your brush again, and using a short, upward motion, fill in your eyebrow by starting in the inner corner. Be extra careful when you get to the arch, and avoid making it too thick.
Lightly outline the bottom of the brow, defining the arch. Use a combination of going with the grain of the brow and an upward motion.
If you have sparse areas, go back in with your taupe shadow.
Take your comb and brush your brows upward and across to make the perfect outline.
To finish your look, use a clear mascara or brow gel to hold your brows in place.

There are other options besides powder, which fades and/or changes color on oily skin. It is also difficult to get just the right shade of powder. If brows are sparse, powder does not assist in creating a shaped brow. You should update your tips. Using brow powder alone is an old technique.

You are correct about there are other options than powder. I personally use color pencil, anastasia brow pomade it’s a brush with a waxy color like brown, black and so on, no powder because it’s loose and falls below my eyebrows and onto face and gets messy. Also Use mascara gel for eyebrows finish touch. You don’t need to buy especially a gel brow mascara, just spray the mascara you are going to use for your brows with hair spray and that will set them and they will stay firm and not run or fade.

Great idea. I use ELF gel and a taupe eye pencil to get the shape. Then powder a soft brown eyeshadow to set and soften the tone. ..to make more hair stroke use a #2 lead pencil to fake hair strokes over – just practice what works for your needs.. ELF also has a light brown eye brow kit for $3 that has the gel and powder and eyebrows gel
