Interpretations

In the moon tarot card, you’ll see the moon, a pool, a crayfish, a dog and a wolf, mountains, and two pillars. The moon is embodied with the Sun. It provides light and yet, it is dim. The moon represents uncertainty and it only lights up the rough paths on the road to higher consciousness. At the base is a pool which depicts the subconscious mind, while the crayfish coming out of the pool symbolizes stages prior to the unfolding of the consciousness.

The dog and the wolf, on the other hand, illustrate the rowdy side of the minds. These objects in the moon tarot card — the dog, the wolf, and the crayfish are depicted as fluster of inner depths.

And lastly, the pillars on the mountains show the way to unconsciousness.
