Cute Outfits With Jeans

Wearing jeans is one of the easiest things for me when I’m choosing what to wear for the day. I can pick almost any kind of top I want and match it with my jeans. What’s difficult is when the time I try to buy a new pair, I go to a store and see too many options.

I used to be clueless about how you would wear each kind. I’ve learned that the different kinds of jeans would fit different people with different body types. I’ve listed the different kinds below and see which one would match your cute outfits with jeans.

Types of Jeans

1. Flared Jeans

|

Old school fashion from the 80s and 90s are coming back and they look absolutely gorgeous now, as much as they looked before. This style, just like its name, flares up below the knees.

Flared jeans suit best for tall and curvy women who have round and pear-shaped bodies. On the other hand, short and curvy women should stay away from this type of jeans.

2. Boyfriend Jeans

Boyfriend jeans are called this way because these kinds of jeans look like it’s from your boyfriend’s closet. It has a comfortable fit that hugs tight in the hips and broadens a bit as it goes down.

This style of jeans fit curvy women with pear or apple-shaped body and should be avoided by petite or shorter women since it can make you look smaller.

3. Skinny Jeans

|

Skinny jeans are my favorite. Just like the name, it will make you look skinny as the jeans hugs tightly to your skin. It will outline your legs and make you look really sexy. The great thing about this is that it is usually made from stretchable fabric.

It’s best worn by those who are petite or anyone with slim legs and for those who have an hourglass body.

4. Boot Cut

|

Boot cut jeans are a great fit for everyone. It hugs right just above the knees and slowly opens up once it goes to the middle of your legs.

The boot cut jeans are perfect for curvy women but can fit any body type because of the great fit.

5. Jeggings

|

Jeggings are essentially leggings made out of denim fabric. It is very comfortable just like leggings. Instead of a button system compared to jeans, jeggings usually comes with a waistband.

It suits any body type and it will make you look great. For those who are conscious of their body size, wear something with a darker shade to make your legs look slimmer.

What to Wear With Your Jeans

1. Streetwear-Inspired

|

Modern-day streetwear involves a lot of branded clothing, layering, sneakers, and jeans. Wear graphic tees on top of any kind of jeans, match it with some branded sneakers, and accessorize with a knotted shirt on your waist and a dad cap.

2. Beach Look

|

For the regular and casual days, add a beach vibe in your outfit by wearing a crochet top with almost any kind of jeans to give you a relaxed and casual beach outfit.

3. Animal Print

|

When wearing black jeans especially, animal print has been a perfect match. On your next cute outfits with jeans, match distressed black jeans with a white top and wear a jacket with animal print on top. It is tried and tested to look absolutely cute.

4. 90s Look

|

Jeans have been a staple in the 90s look and with the 90s fashion returning, slouchy high rise jeans can still be rocked and make you look great. Wearing a polka dot bandana inspired top on high rise jeans will give you a 90s look. Add to it some retro geometric sunglasses.

5. Black Washed

|

When wearing black washed jeans and pairing it with a black top, throw in some shades of gray to make the look still stand out despite it being just in two tones.

6. Painted

|

Painted jeans are fun and cute. Wearing crop tops on top of painted jeans will make you look stunning and cute.

7. With Plaid

|

Plaid always looks great on jeans. A black inner topped with a plaid blazer matched with high rise girlfriend jeans will make you look absolutely stunning.

8. Simple

|

Sometimes, going simple is the best way to look great. Wearing a simple outfit can make you stand out at times. For a simple look, you can wear a plain gray, white or black shirt with distressed jeans. If you feel like expressing yourself a little more, you can wear graphic tees on top of jeans that fit your body shape.
