Halloween is vastly approaching and it’s time to buckle down and watch some scary movies. Forget about binge watching Scandal or Parenthood and come over to the dark side. There are SO many Halloween movies on Netflix right now, you may have a tough time deciding what to watch. Or you may just be a person that knows what they want. Good for you. I envy you.
But for those of you that can’t make a decision to save your life (I feel ya), I’ve put together a movie list for you. These are the best spooky flicks on Netflix right now that you’ll want to binge-watch before Halloween. You’re welcome.
1.The Nightmare Before Christmas
Relive a childhood favorite with pumpkin king Jack Skellington. It is A LOT less frightening watching it as an adult.
2. Scream
This 1996 classic is a must-watch every October. Scream 2 & 3 are also on Netflix. Marathon anyone?
3. The Addams Family
I still can’t get over the fact that Wednesday Adams was named Wednesday. I used to be so jealous she was named after a weekday. BUT WHY?!
4. American Horror Story
I know it’s not a movie, but it’s worth mentioning. All 4 seasons are on Netflix now. Catch up before you watch season 5!
5. Silence of the Lambs
This movie has a 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Woah.
6. Goosebumps
Again, not a movie, but you’ll want to re-watch all of your favorite episodes before seeing the film adaptation starring Jack Black!
7. Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers
I’m not gonna lie, I am so terrified of the entire Halloween series that I haven’t seen a single one of them. But don’t let me stop you. Halloween is IN the title of the movie, so it sounds perfect for this time of year.
8. American Psycho
I have never seen this movie but have heard GREAT things.
9. Scary Movie 3
I really wish Scary Movies 1 & 2 were on Netflix right now also. But this lighthearted flick is a great way to break up all of those hard-core horror movies you’ll be watching from now until Halloween.
10. Sleepy Hollow
Oh Johnny Deep, how do you look the same then as you do now?!
11. The Sixth Sense
You’ll be seeing dead people all the way until October 31st.
12. The Vampire Diaries
Again a TV show, but you’ve got to binge watch all six seasons this month.
