“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.”– George R.R. Martin
George R.R. Martin you are one wise man. Reading really does take us to places we couldn’t reach outside of a book. There’s a special connection between the reader and the story. You will feel WAY more connected & involved in a book than you ever will a movie. This is the sole reason I have not read the Harry Potter books, I know the movie experience will be ruined for me after.
Sometimes you just need a good book to inspire you. The following books will inspire you to BE better and DO better.
Since I haven’t read all of these, I can’t fairly write a review for all/any of them. They all link out to their prospective Goodreads page where you can read thousands of reviews & get a premise on each! Spoiler alert: The Giving Tree has the best reviews. Sometimes “children’s” books really are the best.
