Target really is a magical place. It’s filled with makeup, clothes, shoes, candles and cookies. All my favorite things wrapped into one giant, affordable store.
For this post, I’m going to concentrate on the clothing items target sells. You can buy Oreos and other snacks everywhere, but I really do think they taste best from Target. Oh, and have you tried their Market Pantry ice cream? Heaven! Okay, I”m done. Now onto clothes. Here’s a collection of target reviews:
Sweaters
I have so much love for Target sweaters. I have so many and they’re all great. They last a very long time if you follow washing instructions and they’re so stylish. I get compliments on one sweater from there all the time and people are always surprised when they find out it’s from Target! I suggest buying from the Merona line. The line has a high-end look but is still very affordable. Or check out the new Who What Wear line, there’s some great sweaters and jackets!
Jeans/Pants

This is probably the only category that I sway 100% one way. I DO NOT care for the jeans or pants at Target. Their PJs and sweatpants are awesome, but everything else is not good in my opinion. They fit very awkwardly and the one pair of jeans I did buy wore fast. They were a very thin material and personally, I’d rather pay a few more dollars for a thicker, better quality pair of jeans.
Tops
In my opinion, Target has great basics. I love their graphic tees and plain tanks. Basically, anything you can lounge in you should definitely purchase. Their other tops differ a lot in size, fit, etc. It’s been hard for me to find tops at the superstore, but I have had some success. I would never go there looking for a new top, but sometimes you find gems!
Swimsuits
New swimwear has us dreaming of warmer weather! 🌴🌺👙 $14.99 & up #targetdoesitagain A photo posted by targetdoesitagain (@targetdoesitagain) on
Do I even have to talk about the swimsuits at Target? Everyone knows how awesome they are. There are SO many to choose from and at around $15 a piece, they’re super affordable. I buy at least one suit from Target every summer and they all have lasted me years. They’re well made even if they are more affordable.
I also really appreciate how consistent their sizing is. I know exactly what size I wear in tops & bottoms so now I don’t even have to try swimsuits on! Out of all the clothes Target sells, they’re swimsuits win first prize.
Accessories
Their accessories are pretty inconsistent for me. I’ve had purses I’ve absolutely loved, but they have worn pretty fast. I guess that can be expected from a $30 bag, but still. Their jewelry is very good quality though and they have such a great variety, there’s something for everyone. I also enjoy their scarves, although, I wish they’d get a little more creative. Their watches & hats are both hits or misses, it really depends. Overall, I’d highly recommend their wallets and jewelry. The purses are really cute if you treat it as a temporary thing since it won’t last forever.

Wait until you hear about my Target shoe story…
I’ve always been obsessed with shoes from Target, specifically their boots. They’re so stylish, affordable and usually durable. However, last year I bought an adorable pair of fringe boots and lost one of the heels within a matter of a week! Luckily, I was able to return them, but since they were online only, my size was sold out. I was definitely bummed since I wanted a new pair. If I was a first-time Target shoe customer, that would have been it for me. I would have never bought another pair of Target shoes again. But since I had bought lots of shoes before and I know they are normally great quality, I have since bought two more pairs of boots. Both are working out great. I even wore one pair every day on my trip to NYC that involved a lot of walking.
