Everything From Jumpsuits To Looney Tunes Purses, Watch Out For These Zara Picks
If you know me, you know that I’m a huge fan of Zara clothing. They’re affordable yet super chic pieces, and they definitely don’t look like fast fashion! If I need fashion-forward yet polished workwear, I turn to Zara clothing. If I need street style-worthy pieces that won’t look out of place on the streets of Fashion Week, I’m sure I can find them at Zara! I think Zara clothing is the perfect place to start if you’re a budding fashionista and you want a taste of chic pieces, but you’re still in the process of finding your signature style and building your wardrobe. Before you splurge on designer pieces, Zara clothing can help you figure out what you like and don’t like, without the guilt of having spent thousands on a single piece of clothing!
So this Black Friday, Zara should be one of the top places on your list. Here are a few pieces I really, really want to see on sale this year!
1. Jacket With Toggles
Jackets are usually pricey, even at fast fashion shops like Zara. So if there’s one thing to look out for this Black Friday, it’s your dream jacket! I’m loving this military/band-inspired one. The gold detail is so pretty!
2. Oversized Bomber Jacket
Doesn’t this look so comfy? If I see this on sale, I’m definitely buying it. Oversized tops look great with everything from faux leather leggings to dresses.
3. Sequined Bomber Jacket
Leave it up to Zara to take a huge trend like a bomber jackets and make it even more fabulous. This sparkly bomber jacket is perfect for the holidays! Wear it over your favorite LBD for an edgy yet festive look.
4. Velvet Dress
Don’t let 2016 pass without trying out one of the year’s biggest trends: velvet! I also love how Zara clothing takes huge and sometimes ridiculous trends and turns them into wearable and chic pieces. This velvet shift dress is perfect for a holiday cocktail party.
5. Short Strappy Dress
Slip dresses are part of the return of the 90s, and I’m so glad they’re back! For the cold months, layer slip dresses over a sweater or a plain tee. And when it gets hotter, wear them alone or with a light jacket on top!
6. Gathered Hem Dress
I’d totally wear this dress to a cozy family dinner! It’s just the right balance between casual and stylish. The loose silhouette also means I can pig out during the holidays and not worry about my dress popping open!
7. High Neck Jumpsuit
I’m also going to take advantage of Black Friday sales to look for Zara clothing that’s work-appropriate. This high-neck jumpsuit is right on top of my list! I think this is a universally-flattering cut—not too long for short girls, not to short for tall girls. Plus, the cropped bottoms and high neck give this basic piece an interesting and unique twist.
8. Jumpsuit With Crossover Back
Here’s another unique jumpsuit from Zara, one you can wear to holiday parties as well. The crossover back is a chic and subtle way to show skin, and I love the navy blue shade!
9. Embroidered Suede Effect Blouse
Embroidered pieces are slowly coming back in style, and for good reason! Tops like this are so pretty to look at and so unique, you’ll turn heads wherever you go.
10. Silk Blouse
I love satin and silk blouses, because they’re so easy to take from day to night. Wear this deep purple one with pants, slacks, jeans, and even skirts!
11. Cropped Pinstripe Trousers
Pinstriped anything can make you look taller! And even if you don’t need the extra height, pinstripes are a chic and office-appropriate pattern. These cropped culottes will work with almost any top.
12. High Waist Cropped Trousers
If you’re looking for alternatives to skinny jeans, here’s one! These high-waisted pants are just as slimming as skinny jeans, but so much more chic.
13. Embroidered Cropped Jeans
Embroidered jeans can turn a basic outfit into a unique and chic look! While I don’t suggest mixing prints if you’re not confident enough for it yet, you can definitely rock these jeans with a plain white tee or a solid-colored blouse.
14. Slim Fit Skirt
You can wear a basic skirt like this with almost anything. But for the holidays, I’m thinking oversized sweaters and cozy knits will look amazing with a tight, slimming skirt!
15. Pleated Semi-Long Skirt
Pleats are another huge 2016 trend, and it’s not too late to try them out! Pair a pleated skirt with a silk blouse or flowing polo for a day-to-night look.
16. Zipped Polo Neck Sweater
The holidays are sweater weather season, so my Zara clothing picks wouldn’t be complete without a sweater. (or two!) This zipped polo neck sweater is so chic, and it’s definitely not your run-of-the-mill basic sweater.
17. Batwing Sleeve Sweater
Every girl needs a black turtleneck sweater. So if you don’t have one yet, now’s your chance! I love this whole outfit as well—the blue pleated mini skirt looks so 90s.
18. Suede City Bag
Aside from Zara clothing, I’m also on the lookout for trendy accessories. Zara has a wide selection of bags, shoes, and jewelry you can try if you’re curious about a trend but don’t want to splurge too much. If I can get this Suede City Bag on sale this Black Friday, I’m bringing it to work!
19. Looney Tunes Minaudière
Zara clothing and accessories also put out a Looney Tunes collection recently, and I hope it goes on sale! This minaudière is too cute to resist! I’m sure people on the street will be shocked to find out that I got this from Zara, and not a designer label.
20. Detailed Backpack
With 90s style making a comeback this year, you’ll need a leather backpack to go with your schoolgirl-inspired looks. A plain black one with minimal accents will pair perfectly with any outfit, and is definitely worth the splurge!
21. Felt Hat
I’ve been looking for a chic hate recently, and I think I’ve found the perfect one. I love the detail on this felt one, don’t you?
22. Long Velvet Scarf
Still iffy about the velvet trend? Try a more subtle spin on it with a skinny scarf. Then if you like this subtle touch of velvet, you can go on to dresses, tops, or even skirts!
23. Long Necklace and Chain Choker
Chokers are another trend you should try before 2016 comes to a close. Get this dainty and minimalist one from Zara if you’re not too keen on the intricate designs of other chokers.
24. Jacquard Mini Dress
I think I’ve found my go-to holiday dress! The bright red shade makes it perfect for the festive season, but the trendy sleeves and 70s-inspired print makes it a fashion-forward choice.
25. Skinny Mid Rise Jeans
Last, but definitely not the least, I hope these jeans go on sale this year! This plain pair of jeans got an instant upgrade thanks to asymmetrical zippers. See what I mean when I say Zara takes basic items and adds subtle yet super chic touches?
